We offer a remote try-on service with Uber delivery, bringing your selected pieces straight to your home.

Try-On Fees

• $20 per dress

Delivery

We offer complimentary personal delivery for all Melbourne try-ons within the City of Boroondara and the City of Whitehorse, ensuring a seamless and considered experience.
All garments within these areas are personally delivered by The Evening Edit.

For locations outside of Boroondara and Whitehorse, delivery is facilitated via Uber courier. A $100 delivery deposit is required to arrange this service. This amount is allocated toward Uber fees, with any remaining balance refunded once all garments have been safely returned.

Boroondara suburbs:
Ashburton, Balwyn, Balwyn North, Camberwell, Canterbury, Deepdene, Glen Iris, Hawthorn, Hawthorn East, Kew, Kew East, Surrey Hills (Boroondara side)

Whitehorse suburbs:
Blackburn, Blackburn North, Blackburn South, Box Hill, Box Hill North, Box Hill South, Burwood (Whitehorse side), Burwood East, Forest Hill, Mitcham, Mont Albert, Mont Albert North, Nunawading, Surrey Hills (Whitehorse side), Vermont, Vermont South

Interstate Try-Ons

• Interstate hires are sent via express post.
• You will have 24 hours to try on the dress(es) upon delivery.
• A tracking number must be sent to us within 24 hours of receiving the parcel.
• A deposit equal to the full dress hire value is required and held as security.
• This deposit is fully refunded once all garments are returned safely, unworn, and in original condition.

Garment Care & Try-On Guidelines

To preserve the condition and quality of each piece, we kindly ask that all garments are handled with the utmost care and worn exclusively within your allocated try-on window.

• No fake tan, makeup, deodorant, or body products
• No perfume or fragrances
• No food or beverages near garments
• No alterations, pinning, or adjustments
• No wear outside of the home, including events or photoshoots

Any garment returned with marks, stains, or signs of wear — including those caused by makeup or tanning products — will incur professional cleaning or repair costs, which will be the responsibility of the client.

By confirming a try-on booking, you acknowledge and agree to these care requirements.

By booking a try-on or hiring garments from The Evening Edit, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

• A tracking number must be provided to The Evening Edit within 24 hours of receiving the parcel.
• A deposit equal to the full dress hire value is required and held as security.
• This deposit is fully refunded once all garments are returned safely, unworn, and in original condition.
• Late returns will incur a fee of $50 per dress, per day until the items are returned.

Garment Care & Use

To maintain the quality of all pieces, garments must be handled with care at all times.

The following conditions apply:

• No fake tan, makeup, deodorant, or body products are to be applied while trying on garments
• No perfume or fragrances
• No food or beverages near garments
• No alterations, pinning, or adjustments
• No wear outside the home, including events, outings, or photoshoots
• Garments may only be worn within the allocated try-on period

Stains, Damage & Cleaning

Any garment returned with stains, marks, or signs of wear — including makeup, fake tan, deodorant, or similar — will incur professional cleaning or repair costs, which are the responsibility of the client.

Any damage caused by misuse or negligence may result in additional charges for repair or replacement.

Agreement

By booking, receiving, or accepting delivery of any garment from The Evening Edit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.Failure to comply with these terms may result in forfeiture of deposits, try-on fees, and/or additional charges.
