Our Hire Policy.
1. Eligibility
Renters must be at least 13 years old. If under 18, the client must have permission from a parent or guardian to hire a dress.
2. Hire Period
The standard hire period is 5 days. If you require an extended hire period, please let us know at the time of booking. We will accommodate extensions subject to availability.
3. Payment
The full hire amount must be paid in advance to secure your booking.
Cancellations made more than 7 days before the event will be eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations made within 7 days of the event will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
4. Delivery & Return
Free Delivery: We offer free delivery within the City of Boroondara and Whitehorse.
$20 Delivery Fee: For clients located in the City of Stonnington, Bayside, Banyule, Monash, Knox, Maroondah, and Manningham, a $20 delivery fee will apply.
The dress must be returned within the hire period. A $30 per day late return fee will apply for dresses not returned by the agreed-upon date.
5. Tracking Information
A tracking number for the return shipment of the dress must be provided within 48 hours after your event.
6. Dress Care
If the dress is damaged during the hire period, the client will be required to cover the full cost of the dress as per the original purchase price.
We are not responsible for any damages, injuries, or losses incurred while wearing the dress.
7. Social Media & Publicity
If you prefer not to be posted on our social media channels, please inform us at the time of your booking.
8. Liability
The Evening Edit is not liable for any personal injuries, losses, or damages incurred while wearing the dress during the hire period.
9. Security Deposit
A security deposit may be required and will be refunded upon the return of the dress in its original condition.
